Hello all.
It is possible to send and receive SMS with a Java application? I am working on the Nokia 9210 communicator, so I can use the PersonalJava classes. If it is possible, how do I do it? Please reply if you know anything about it. Alfredo Moreno Universidad Simon Bolivar |

It may not be easy and I can only comment on 50% of your question that is sending SMS. You have to use Java JNI with AT commands to do that.
Also, ackage javax.net.datagram allow message exchanges between non-IP address devices. Please follow the documents on that on how to set the delivery network and the bearer and other importnat details. Hopefully this helps you. regards, Sudnyesh |
