first of all a warm welcome to the forum nokia PyS60 dibo.
If you want to use the SDK i suppose on emulator why dont you use S60 FP3 it has got more features than S60 FP2.

Hi and welcome to the Python discussion board.

All you need to do is download PythonForS60_1_4_4_SDK_3rdEd.zip from here. Apparently there is no special edition for FP2, but plain 3rd edition works well, I've tried it.

See this article for info about installing it on the emulator.

I do not know much about Python so i am not commenting on actual solution but originator is asking about S60 3rd FP2, not S60 2nd FP2.

FYI, IMHO, S60 3rd FP2 was released on 2008-03-25 ( 25th March )

Again..i dont mean to appear slow but..the installation seem's not to be working out for me..ive got active pearl..installed...could it be my installation of S60 2nd edition FP3(installed and working fine..just not pretty)......

can you mention the steps how you installed so we can esaily spot the problem.
and the cause cannot be that 2nd fp3 is there thats why not working. i have both and working fine.

Apparently my S60 3rd edition FP2 installed to c:\S60 ..., S60 2rd edition FP3 installed to c:\symbian..
