hello,
I am having an application in which i am using wifi connectivity , now the user of this application is mobile, so it might happen that the user may move out in a place where the wifi signal is lost suddenly , i tested such kind of situation and i found out that as soon as i go out of the wifi enabled area i get a message of "Disconnected" and my application dies. The disconnected message is given by the system .I want this sudden panic to be handled . I want that as soon as the user goes out of the wifi network my application should be able to catch the sudden disconnection of wifi and have a graceful exit instead of it dying , or it should be able to sustain giving a notification to the user that the wifi connection is lost . Is thi possible Regards symbiannil |

With RConnectionMonitor you can monitor connections, AP, networks, and you can have notifications when the signal is lost and manage the behaviours.
But are you sure that there isn't an error on the code executed after the connection goes down ? I worked in a lot of similar use cases and my applications never died. Ste |
