new here, but i am trying to find out, how i can alter settings for a n82 phone. basically i want full control over the camera which comes with the phone.
things i am looking for: - is it possible to take a picture without changing the screen to the camera mode? eg i am in the calender program and want to take a quick picture without leaving the calander. - is it possible to turn off the "privacy" red light thing, which basically destroys any snapshot you might want to take (for example my kinds, who will instantly stare in the camera as soon as the light goess off) - is it possible to force the auto focus on a static distance (for long range shots) - is the secondary camera accesible with these settings? - can i alter the flash light sequence? any ideas? |

quite a many question.
1. you could make your own background service that is expecting to get a key, and when it captures the key, it could launch the camera. 2. I have not seen a way to disale the lights with camera. 3. As far as I know at least with pre-FP2 devices, the autofocus without any parameters is accessible by 3rd party developers. |

i think if we want a full control over our camera, we should get a real camera instead of a camera phone
