Hi developers,
please note that a new version of the Series 60 SDK (Series 60 SDK v1.0 for Symbian OS, Nokia edition) has been introduced. You can develop applications for Nokia 3650 and 7650 with this SDK. The SDK has improved Bluetooth functionality: -the emulator is capable of both sending and receiving data over Bluetooth (with DTL-4 or Socket CF Bluetooth Card). -a new Bluetooth example, BTHCI, describes how to access HCI with HCI commads. -Bluetooth PointToPoint example is fixed to act both as a client and a server on the emulator. -generally better functioning of Bluetooth examples on the emulator. You can download the SDK at: http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,,030,00.html A guide on how to install and configure a Bluetooth card with the emulator can be downloaded at: http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,,1_43_40,00.html (The document is based on the functionality of the Series 60 SDK v0.9 and therefore the chapter on using examples is out-of-date. A new document will be available within a few days.) Regards, Seppo Forum Nokia |

Seppo, sorry for asking this again in the forum.
Any plans to release an add-on to use the SDK with Borland C++ Builder? I was hoping that Nokia would release with 1.0 but they didnt. Last year, Borland use to say it will be released by the end of this year. Now, they say "it will be released whey its ready!" /kmk |

The newest version (v1.2) of the document 'Setting Up and Using the Bluetooth Testing Environment for Series 60 Platform' is now published in Bluetooth documents section. It describes how to setup and use Bluetooth capabilities with the Series 60 SDK v1.0 development environment. It describes how to use the Bluetooth examples included in the Series 60 SDK v1.0 for Symbian OS, Nokia Edition.
