Does S60 3rd Edition FP2 support camera? -

Hi all
I am using S60 3rd Edition FP2 to test JSR234. System.getProperty("supports.video.capture")will return false Manager.createPlayer("capture://video") will throw MediaException I don't whether this is a bug on S60. And can anyone tell me a simulator that supports JSR234, especially advanced camera control features? Thanks

I suspect it (camera/video APIs) might be one of those things that work on a device, but not the emulator.

If you need to use JSR-234 camera extensions, the you shoudl probably check Sun WTK
http://java.sun.com/products/sjwtool....html?feed=JSC (although I am not familiar how well the camera features are supported in WTk emulator) Hartti

As tested by me, sun's wtk 2.5 supports JSR234 camera features
a really good emulator
