This isn't Python-specific, but I don't see an appropriate forum and I am using Python after all. Plus you guys probably know better than anyone, so...

The Publisher ID my company has doesn't seem to work successfully. During installation with it, I always get an error message: "Certificate error: contact the application supplier."

Ensymble uses it, and I don't think it's older than a few months.

Maybe the password is wrong, but it's the only one anybody here knows about. Where can I go for support on this, or do we need to purchase a new one? Or maybe I'm just using it wrong.

Thanks gaba, I guess I'll take it up with symbiansigned as a support issue.

I have been following that FAQ since it was posted, and it's been very helpful--especially the code to see the stack trace.

yes that thread is really helpful specially for beginners thanks to jethro.fn it was his actual idea only.
i also have started a wiki article on platform security but its just the basic lot more to do.

Cool, I remember when jrthro.fn started it. I've been here a few weeks now.

I took it up with VeriSign and I think they were able to help me. Now I just have to try signing something...

By the way, I've been programming over 15 years but only started using Python for Nokia phones, and I really like it. I've been using it for lots of other things at work and outside of work too. It's kind of like what I've always wanted!

You can all call me Jussi (my real name) if you want to. "Jethro" is a nickname I've had for a long time, all the way back from 1995 if I remember correctly.
