Is there any quick way to play a sound according to active profile configuration?
Like play the new email sound, according to configuration, so if the active profile has no sound and vibration it just vibrates.
And where are the builtin ringtones? Like Email1.aac or Clock1.mid.. I can't find them.. THey're hidden away in system folder like Sys or Private?

I'm currently using sysinfo.ring_type() to know if I should or not play a sound to notify.
Guess got to use misty for vibration.

Thanks

I'm also using sysinfo.ring_type() to determine whether sound should be rung or not.

Those files are stored in Z:\data\sounds\digital (Nokia N73). You can't access this folder with the default File Manager (C:\Python\filebrowser.py can). But you can play these sounds with Python scripts using audio module.

Oh thanks for the location of the files. I had noticed those 2 extra drives showing on filebrowser.py that didn't show on X-plorer, but thought it'd be some kind of bug or virtual drives, since I assumed X-plorer would show me if they were real

Pff, X-plorer about to be deleted then

Thanks once again

Hello skwelboy

Don't delete x-plore but choose in the configuration panel the following options
- Show hidden file
- show rom drives (for Z !)
- show system files/folders

I wasn't really going to delete X-plore, it's too pretty
I ended up finding those options while playing around with it, yesterday, I had just instaled X-plore for first time when I made that post

Even so, I like the filebrowser.py, opensource and all hehe Made a few modifications in it and packed it in a SIS

Thanks anyway
