send midlet to background: NO pause -

Hi all, i´ve been reading and it does not seem possible... but I am asking in this forum just in case anybody has the answer. Imagine I have a streaming application or simply an http get or post connection. the rstp or http has started getting data from the server, and I receive a phone call..would it be posible to send the app to "background" keeping the dowloading of data alive!!???

Its totally depends on Application Mangager. Mostly it does this work in background until application require some i\p from user. But some how it also depends on the device which we are using.
