If XHTML embedded terminals will use WAP/WSP for the transport, then what happened with the WAP G/W does it still needed or not?

Wap Gateway is always needed no matter you are browsing an XHTML mobile profile page or a WML page.
The functionality of the gateway does not change with this nor its importance. However gateways should now understand XHTML mobile profile pages as well. Sudnyesh.
