Draw Transparent png Image on Canvas -

Hi!
I have folllowing problem, i need to draw a trasparent logo on the screen, but when i draw it the trasparent space is white. Can somebody help me with this issue? regards Stalkin

Hi Stankin,
not all phones support and handle transparency when using PNG images. On which device(s) are you testing? Pit

i tested it on an nokia N73, also the wtk emulator does not show the transparency
|

Hi Stalkin,
actually both Nokia N73 and Sun's WTK support transparency with PNG images. Have you double-checked your PNG image to be sure it's really trasparent? Pit

I've only had positive experiences regarding transparency in PNG images. Especially with respect to how many handsets support 8-bit alpha in PNG-24's.
