Hi,

I need to update the device's calendar (to-do list, appointments, anniversaries, etc.) with entries from my company's system. After that, my program needs to know how to synchronize, so I need my company's database IDs to be stored somewhere, somehow. Does anyone know of a natural way to do this?

Right now my best idea is to store a look-up table (device's entry ID : company's entry ID) on the device in a file or DB. But, if there's an easier way that takes less work and is simple to maintain or more efficient, please advise me.

Thanks!

The basic thing I get is that you want all your company's database schedule to be scheduled in your mobile phone, I hope I got it right. And by synchronization you mean that dates on which schedules are scheduled they must be created/updated/deleted accordingly with database?

Thanks, that looks pretty useful. I was hoping for some way to integrate extra fields right into the calendar database, but I wasn't really expecting it.

I wonder why in that FAQ about e32dbm someone called a variable "file_nam". That's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen because "filename" has the same number of characters and takes one fewer keystroke, and it's not an arbitrary abbreviation which is something I really hate.
