Play modules straight from python, no longer depends on the native process hwasln.

You can do

import pymodlib

pymodlib.Load(u"e:\\mods\\game.mod")
pymodlib.SetVolume(10)
pymodlib.Play()

after installing pys60modlib.

pymuz
http://code.google.com/p/pymuz/
is also updated to use the new library.

Great update !

I'm goind to try and I send you my feedback

now we have a module for playing mod music (mod,s3m etc.)
next we need a module for generate simple tone

pys60 1.4.5,1.9.7,pygame,PyS60 CE on E90 , N810 with Python 2.5.2 and ... last PyS60 1.9.7 with touch ui on 5800 !

Nice! Brings bad lots of good memories, but didn't mod music die 10 years ago

MOD music never dies! It just loops back around to the beginning.
