Hi,
I have image database and I would like to have option to switch large images (1Mb) at high speed (less than second).
Is it possible in Python? any extension?

I mean something like is implemented already in Nokia N95 for example. (image is build from large pixels)

I suppose that one solution may be reading pixels one by one (or every 10th). But does it mean that first I have to load whole image to RAM?

Any suggestions, ideas much appreciated.

i am not sure but AFAIK there is no extension module to do this sort of switching of images.
Moreover its certain if you are reading the picture pixel by pixel you have to load it to your ram.
