Can you elaborate your problem, because its not clear to me how you want to use PyS60 in this problem.

I'm working on a rather serious db project ( 1 GB of data, ~120 tables) and need a way of verifying that all my import scripts succeeded. So it would be quite helpful if I could ask the database for all the table names currently in the database or for fields in a given table.

For instance SQL Server and has sysobjects table that holds some of the metadata for the database. Firebird has $RDB tables that hold metadata etc.

On another topic, is there perhaps even remotely possible way to manipulate the symbian dbs on the pc? At 1GB the import takes 8hours in the emulator...
