Now when I am trying to run the application, it says that "Invalid Application" and prompts me to delete the app. Could some body please help whats wrong? Its sort of urgent. guys,
Could someone who faced similar problem or who knows the solution please reply soon? I need to figure it out soon. I am simply installing the .jar file using Nokia PC Suite, do I need to take care of .jad file also? what to do with .jad file in cases we need to do something with it. Thanks |

My guess: You have build the MIDlet for MIDP 2.1 devices and as 3110 only supports MIDP 2.0 applications, the installation fails.
CHange the build settings to MIDP 2.0 in your IDE and try again Hartti |

My build settings are as below:
Config: CLDC 1.1 Profile: MIDP 2.0 I am using eclipse and I am not signing the jar file. |

try by changing settings to CLDC1.0

Can you post the JAD contents and tell what APIs you are using.
