I am using Nokia N95 8GB. When I try the locator
capture://video?encoding=video/3gpp&width=640&height=480 The application raise exception However when i select lower resolution it works fine(176x144) I read the preview of Nokia N95 8GB, it said this device can support the resolution of 640x480 Please help

Yep, but the Java ME implementation on that phone does not support higher video resolution than 176 x 144
