Hello,
I would like to announce my project: Series60 - Remote It is a GUI for your computer that connects via bluetooth to your cell phone and performs some common operations. It's main language is German, but it could be translated to English easily (the necessary files to do this are included in the package) With Series60 - Remote you can: - send SMS via your computer - save all your messages on your computer and browse the history - chat with a contact like in any instant messaging application - display some mobile phone informations Requirements: - Linux (maybe it works under Windows too) - Python 2.4 - PyQt 4.4 - pybluez - obexftp (or anything else to send a file to your mobile phone) There are some screenshots in english and german (Please note: This isn't the newest version, I've changed a few things since this revision) It can be downloaded from Sourceforge It is still in alpha state, so it is possible that some things don't work. There is no installation needed. Just run the scipt series60-remote.py

Great application, man!
Although I can't test it since I use Mac OSX. I'll look for some Windows computer for testing it. Congratulations for the great idea! ![]() Keep them coming! BR, Rafael. |

Hello,
porting it to Mac OS X wouldn't be so difficult pybluez is the only thing that's not available in Mac OS X, and this could be easily replaced by lightblue I'm planning to port it to Windows (release an .exe-file) and Mac for Version 1.0. |
