reset_inactivity function resets the time when the user was last active and the simple activity function gives you the time the user was last active on the device.
So now what do you mean by setting the inactivity.

It's not possible with PyS60 AFAIK
But an API is available for 3rd edition for this purpose : CHRWMLight

Add a request in the PyS60 extension request page in the wiki
