How to get Local Bluetooth name ? Is there any way without using BTEngine API plugin ?
Another question, How to obtain Remote Bluetooth name when using a CObexServer. e.g. it comes a connection from a CObexClient, and I want to obtain client's BT name. |

By using the P&S key you can get local name
UID: KPropertyUidBluetoothCategory Pubsub Keys: KPropertyKeyBluetoothGetDeviceName (If BT is ON then we can access it always but if BT is not ON then BT Stack must be loaded). This is Symbian stuff. I think there is no API by which you can get the BT address or remote device, it is hidden in CObexRfcommConnector. You can try to get the remoteclient by this way. -Mahbub |
