Greetings,
I'm currently developing a p2p application over bluetooth, using j2me as target platform. I had to implement a 'low level' protocol, witch uses rfcomm directly to handle connections. During testing i'm getting lots of OutOfMemory exeptions that causes application to crash. It happens with files that exceed 6Mb. My question is: can OBEX be a solution to this problem, or is this an inheereted problem of j2me, given the constrained environment in witch it executes ? On this forum, application development faq i read that nokia devices acting as slave in the network, can have at most one bluetooth connection active. I don't understand this statement very much or if it has implications on a p2p file sharing app. In a p2p app. a peer(device) acts simultaneously as client/server, it is both a slave/master. The question is if this is handled in automatic by some lower protocol or do i need to programm this behaviour too ? Any kind of help will be deeply appreciated, Andrea Sufuri. |
