Hello,

Can anyone help me with the dir fuction?

I installed Python into my Symbian Emulator my computer (Vista).

I did an import of the appiufw
Then I typed dir
There was no way to get my emulator to accept the parenthesis no matter how many times I press the key.

How do I do the dir function or use any function in my coding on my emulator if I can not get the parenthesis key to work?

Wouldn't it be easier to write your program in a proper editor in Vista and just run the script inside the emulator? Writing a complete program inside the emulator must be all kinds of painful.
