Should this work?
LocalDevice locale = LocalDevice.getLocalDevice(); s = locale.getBluetoothAddress(); or must you do: LocalDevice locale = LocalDevice.getLocalDevice(); locale.setDiscoverable(DiscoveryAgent.LIAC); s = locale.getBluetoothAddress(); i want the BT address without actually switching on the bluetooth. possible? |

Bluetooth stack is loaded when BT is ON, so probably we can't get this information without BT ON. May be good to test to make sure.

It looks we don't need to keep BT ON to get the BT address
