Hi all,

Since some time i am struggling with this problem and despite extensive search in this forum and the internet could not find a solution:

I'm trying to set up on-device debug for s60.
my setup:

- Windows XP sp2
- S60_3rd_MIDP_SDK_FP1
- Bluetooth: HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth 2.0 Wireless Technology from Broadcom, version 5.1.0.2900
- No firewall nor antivir programm is running.

I have sucessfully installed the ecmt (what is this standing for btw? ) debug agent and also redirect midlet (although i think i would not use this in this step).
I can start the debug agent and it logs that server is started and its listening.
I startup the Device Connectivity Tool for SDK and see the different ports. I do not see the "EctmAgent" string though, just the port numbers with generic Comment "\Device\BtPort0" "\Device\BtPort1" "\Device\BtPort2" "\Device\BtModem0" - even after refresh.
I find out the correct Com port via My Bluetooth Places\Find Bluetooth Devices\Nokia 6110 Navigator where I see the bluetooth services of my phone and also the EcmtAgent.
I can actually connect on this menu to this agent and i see the connected message on the Debug Agent on the phone.

However I cannot connect from the Device Connectivity Tool to the Debug Agent. When I press connect, just nothing happens, refresh nothing happens. I can connect to some other bluetooth ports however, that are not the EcmtAgent, and I see the message on the phone, promting me to allow a connection attempt.

I would be really thankful if somebody knows a solution to this problem, that not only I have, as it seems from my search on this forum.
