to implement kml -APIs for POI -

Hi Friends,
I need to implement the google maps application for finding POI(Point Of Interest). which API has to use to implement POI in gmaps(kml ). This has to support kml specification. please specify the APIs needed. answered persons are appreciated. thanks tjprakashmca@gmail.com
