Hi everyone

i'm trying to launch an external program from python script on S60 3rd FP 2. I already had the python code from here

But in the Z:\\resource\\apps dir are there only the already preinstalled programs? I want to execute a program which i installed afterwards and couldn't find it in this folder.

Does anybody know where S60 3rd FP 2 has the folder with afterwards installed programs?

Yes, the preinstalled programs are in Z:\\resource\\apps. Depending on where you installed your applications (phone memory or memory card), you might find their files in the equivalent folders on C or E respectively (C:\\resource\\apps or E:\\resource\\apps).

If you want a reliable method of finding all the installed programs, try applist. After you get their names, start the ones you want using the method in the article you've already found.
