hi everyone,

I've started working on a new interface for my E71..so that I have greater access to my favorite apps straight from my home screen.. two things i'm struggling to code however:

- access to email mailbox.. is this possible in python?

- launch SMS inbox...

e32.start_exe('z:\system\programs\mce.exe','')

this code launches the Messaging app, but does anyone know the parameters to load SMS Inbox view.. it is possible in native Symbian C++ using s60UID 0x1002 but i dont want to have to go down the line of creating new plugins etc right now..

anybody have any ideas to this yet? mShell gives access to email mailbox ....but the modules arnt as good as Python
