Hi,

I have my application send a sms using the following code:

import messaging
messaging.sms_send("6143017827", u"message")

The problem is that each time the sent message gets stuck in the outbox and is scheduled for delivery 3-4 hrs later than the current time. I do not understand why it does not send the sms instantly?

I'm using Nokia N70 a 2nd ed phone. Please help!

Well, does it send normally when you type the message from the standard application?

I had tried your code on N70 and it works perfectly. I think there some thing wrong with the messaging app with your phone.

hello Neeraj

i would say that the problem might be with the operators network you are using.
Otherwise your code seems to be very accurate and correct.

Try using the code after sometime. I guess then it will work.

I tried running the code again...but still the message is waiting in the outbox scheduled to be sent at a latter time(4 hours later)..

how is code working for you???did u make any changes..is the message is not waiting in the outbox???
can you provide me the .py that you ran..
