Hi for all,,,

i want to know how can i write a code
by java to simulate the function of the Buffering
which appeare to us when we play any file from youtube,
so i want when i play like an audio file i want to save it in bytearrayinputstream
and after exact time or amount of size from the file
i will send it to the player to show/play it and then the process will
heppen continously till the fill is finished>>>>>

so
How can i do that???

a media player supported by [[ S60 - 3rd edition - fb2 ]]
with: # all formates >> am already write a code to wav audio vedio((mpg))....so i want the other fromate of audio and vedio which supported in S60!!!

Hi,
In case of audio streaming u can stream the data with the help of http by downloading the data in chunks and playing them.when one chunk is about to finish download another one and as the first one get completes the execution play the second one and so on. I suggest to take 2 players to manage the streaming efficiently. funda is this remaining manage by urself.
In case of video streaming its not feasible with http. for this u have to use RTSP.

Well I have tested with my N96 (S60 3.2) pointing directly to an external mp3 source over http.

The phone actually does perform progressive download over http. Try it out.
Haven't tested with video (using http). But I assume the same behaviour.
