Hi everybody

I'm developing an application, in which i'm using a canvas.

The problem is that the size of the canvas is wrong!
My physical screen resolution is 640 x 360, but getHeight returns 240 and getWidth return 360.

If I use setFullScreen(true) i get width = 360 and height = 360.

I have tried drawing something below 360, which didn't work.
Anything i try to draw below 240 or 360 won't show up. It's just black!


When i'm using a form, it fill's up the whole screen, as intended.


Have I forgotten any keys in the jad-file?

It works in the emulator.
I'm using a Nokia 5800 running
S60 5th., Symbian v. 9.4

I have been searching the forums, unfortunately without any luck!
Any help is much appreciated.

First rule... when using setFullScreenMode(), you need to use the sizeChanged() event to get the new screen size. On many devices, the size does not change immediately.

Second, you might find useful information in this wiki article.

I didn't needed the setFullScreen. It was just an example. :)
I had already tried implementing the sizeChanged-method. But that doesn't make any difference.

I needed to set
Nokia-MIDlet-On-Screen-Keypad: no

Now it works!
