Its crazy, the leading phone manufacturer and i have a tiny choice of bluetooth phones.
I cant use a different manufacturer because everyone else's software is so poor. Have you tried texting on an ericsson or motorola? its a joke. BUT, i want a bluetooth headset, tri-band, SMALL, MMS phone. Theres isnt one. Why doesnt the 6100 have bluetooth? its stupid. |

I agree with you! Nokia is disapointig everyone with this lack of bluetooth eneabled phones". I sold my T68i some months ago and thought about buying a 6100 but for my surprise it was not bluetooth eneable... so I got a new T68i...
I spent a lot of money in Bluetooth accessories and from now on I will only buy Bluetooth capable phones! Please Nokia, I want to buy more phones! heheh |

I couldn't agree more! It is perverse that Nokia is not including bluetooth in any of its new phones and that so few of the new phones support triband. I don't want to move to another brand, having used Nokia phones for nine years without a break, but the current situation is extremely frustrating.
In addition, the situation with Nokia's bluetooth headsets is farcical. THe HDW-1 was cancelled after a long delay and the HDW-2 has still not been delivered. At the moment, I would be more surprised if Nokia delivered the HDW-2 than if it cancelled it. |

Nokia 3650 and 6310i are triband phones with Bluetooth. Nokia 3650 also has MMS.

The 6310i (my current phone) is a very good phone, but it is a 2002 phone, not a 2003 phone. The 3650, while intersting, is more of a fashion-type phone, with its radical design.

I have nokia hdw-2, but it's the worst buy of my life... it don't work full lfunctionally with 3650...

What are you missing, my HDW-2 is working as designed with the Nokia 3650. Audio quality is lower than with the 6310, but acceptable (just).
Do you have the production firmware (v 2.50). I have faith that the audio quality will be improved with future firmware as has happened for the 6310. Regards Michael |

Your 3650 ring whith the hdw2 connected? My no...

Well, the phone rings in the speaker of the headset, and the vibrator goes off as well, so it is buzzing at the table when somebody calls.
You should probably turn off the headset when not using it, to enable the ringtone of the phone itself. This ought to be a configurable option, allowing the phone to ring even if the headset is connected. Regards Michael |
