Hello,

I am currently trying to play voice streamed from PC as RTP packets (codec is g.711) to the mobile in J2ME. The following is the development environment I am using:
- Netbeans 6.5 with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 SDK

I have managed to REGISTER & INVITE using SIP and initiated a call to the PC client through Asterisk as an SIP Proxy.
Now I got the ports and started recieving RTP packets (over udp) and extracted the 12 byte header for each packet.

So, I have the raw voice data which need to be played. As I understood, the player cannot play them as they are and I need to add a header at the beginning. I tried adding 24 byte header to play the data as audio/au but without any result.

I'm using the custom RTPDataSource and RTPSourceStream abailable by Vikram Goyal here(with some modification as he is using it for RTSP streaming):

But the problem is that the player stucks at player.realize() ?!

Another solution suggested from my readings proposes that two players should be used.. But I cannot understand how to code this?

Do you have any suggestions?
