Does exist an API to retrieve phone model on which it's running the python application?

For example in my application I want to know if the phone is a Nokia E61 or a Nokia E51.

sysinfo.sw_version()

If you want to know the phone model name (e.g. E61) then you have to find a list if Nokia product codes and map the product code to the model name (e.g. RM-333 -> N85).
