on February 20, 2001 at 18:06 I installed Nokia Activ Server (v2) on Win 2000. I can start the Server OK but when I try to use the server manager utility, nothing happens. I ran it from the command line and it returned the prompt with no error message. The GUI just doesn't display. I tried to do the same with the Command prompt version and it has the same results. Does anyone have any ideas? |

We had the same problem and what we found out is, that you have to put your screen at a minimum resolution of 800X600 or else the manager gui won't start.
if you look in the services window (taskmanager) you'll see a javaw.exe start and stop if you are in a lower resolution, it will keep running in a higher resolution regards alex |
