Hello,
is there any "S60 Platform SDKs for Symbian OS, for C++" for Mac OsX? I managed to find only the version for Win!
Thanks in advance

No, there's only the Windows version, sadly.

And just in case, you are feeling short of resources - RDA may be a good option to test PyS60 applications - works perfectly as expected.

I use Mac OSX too. I usually test the scripts on my devices, but you can still have a virtual machine software, such as VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop and install Windows on your Mac. Then you can try your applications with the SDK

Rafael.

No, SDK is for windows only.

I run emulator in Parallels-hosted Windows XP, when I need to.

But I think the most efficient way to develop on Mac is to use Putools and a real device for running and testing code.

Hi,

I've used in the past the pys60-compat environment on OSX/Linux for various small apps.
For my bigger apps (like tracker.py), I've created my own abstraction layer that uses appuifw
on pys60 and wxPython on OSX/Linux.

pys60-compat can be found here: http://pys60-compat.sf.net
source code for tracker.py which runs on OSX, Linux and S60: http://tracker-py.googlecode.com
(look at the 0.30 branch, I develop it mainly on OSX)

Have fun!

Mark.
