If ya have please tell me HOW did ya do it!!!
Just asking cos I HAVENT!!!

Iv been:
- Reading FORUMS for days (CANT make any sense).
- Calling to Club Nokia Careline (they DONT care).
- Send mail to MSI (they dont care).
- Tried Acer BT500 Drivers (License Key?).

You have to:
- If ya read this and have solved the problem -> Write it down!!

- If ya work in Nokia and know this problem and havent done anything to solve it -> Hit ya head to the wall and yell WHY WHY oh WHYYYY i havent helped these poor Nokia users!!!!!

I want to end this misery of mine (yours)!! Please help me to do it some other way than with my shotgun!!

I have the same hardware and software problems as you!! There is NO way to get the PCSuite working with MSI's Bluetooth adapter.
The problem is Nokia not MSI. I have had the MSI Bluetooth dongle working fine with other stuff.
Nokia have falsley advertised this phone, the 6310i's Bluetooth connectivity is VERY poor and the PCSuite supplied does not work with Bluetooth.

The problem is not that the phone does not support Bluetooth, it is just that the PC Suite is designed only to talk to the Nokia Bluetooth dongle hence your MSI dongle won't work.

If you install a generic PC stack e.g. http://www.widcomm.com/, it should support most Bluetooth dongles and allow you to talk to your phone.

This obviously means you are limited to standard Bluetooth profiles - dial up networking, business card exchange, audio gateway, serial port - and cannot use the PC suite functionality.

You must upgrade your MSI USB Dongle Bluetooth to the latest version available (Updated March 18,2003 - The Firmware version should be 5xx not 3xx) at http://www.msi.com.tw.

Re-install your driver and upgrade the firmware using software supplied in the package.

Install your Nokia PC Suite (if you haven't)

Restart your computer, start the device and connect using Serial Port Profile.

And then specify your connection @ MRouter (The one come with Nokia PC Suite) to COM 4 (mine is work @ COM4)

And launch the PC Suite

Where did you get this MRouter program from?

I can only see reference to this in the PC suite for the 7650 and not the 6310i.

Does the 7650 PC suite work with the 6310i?

I have MSI Bluetooth+Nokia 7650+PC Suite, since day one I got these, I have managed these working togather, even not every time. I found it is not stable sometime, and I have to say it is nokia's responsibilty to make there product more compatitive.

Unaware of the Nokia's bluetooth-ache, I purchased a 6310i and a Bluetooth USB adapter from Belkin. The WidComm stack came with the dongle and worked flawlessly. I had the same gratifying experience with my bluetooth headset. Then 'PC Suite' came along and ruined the entire relationship.

I blistered AT&T's ear real good; still haven't heard anything useful from them. Amazingly the support folks at Belkin (one of whom just got the same phone) spent considerable time on the problem with no success. They also said that Nokia would be releasing a new version of 'PC Suite' to address these issues. That's why I visited the site today - no such luck.

Anybody else heard anything?

well, i tried the data suite with my 6310i with a cable connection...you guessed it, it DIDN't work

trying the tdk mobile v3.3 which is virtually identical DOES work so it is definitely the software

trouble is, you have to pay the fee to tdk.....
