Hi,
I have written a small java app for the Series 40 to be able to turn the backlight on / off at will. I would like to be able to have this app run automatically depending on the lock / unlock event. So when the phone is unlocked my app runs (and the backlight stays permanently on). Then when the phone lock event occurs I want my app to turn off (so the backlight goes off). Can anyone offer any help as to how I can link the running / stopping of my app to the lock / unlock event ? Many thanks, Martin. |

Using j2me u cant detect lock events. Rather in your app, u can keep check of for how long user has not done any thing, and on basis of that can make ur application threads to go to sleep
