Well you have 3 options:
1. Settle for a less complex text field like the ones shown here. 2. Draw everything on a Canvas. That would mean extremely hard work since you would have to handle everything through your code. 3. Use Qt instead of PyS60. Check out its examples on the Wiki, they're very similar to what that image shows.
