I'm working on porting an app from a regular phone (6120c) to a 5800. The app is supposed to work in landscape mode only.
What would be the normal or typical way to handle rotations in this scenario? I'm planing on simply showing a message that the phone must be rotated whenever the phone is set in portrait orientation. However, I'm still wondering if the orientation can somehow be locked at landscape mode. In general terms I don't want to change the axis, rotate bitmaps, etc, just to show a nice rotated screen when the phone is in portrait mode. Any comments are welcome. |
