I am studying the possibilities tot transfer data from Nokia to a Nokia mobile phone.

The Nokia 6310 is an Object Push Profile compatible device. Support for vCard is mandatory in that profile. The 6310 have also support for Business card exchange.

My question is: are there other formats supported for object push in the 6310 or can I make a new format?
And can I define a new object format in the SD Service Records of the 7650 so that I can make an application to send and receive my own objects.

In Nokia 6310, vCard is the only supported object format. There are no programming interfaces for creating new formats.

In Nokia 7650, vCard and vCal are supported. In addition, e.g., textual files, images, and wave sound files can be sent via Object Push Profile.

It should be possible to create an application for Nokia 3650/7650/NGage that sends also other formats of files.
