Who knew that June could come and go so quickly?
Overall, it’s been great to check in on the wiki over the month and see the entries that have been coming in – as you may have noticed, a couple of the categories for the challenge have been quite new, so it’s been great to see the variety of information you all have been contributing to the community! It’s been great to see our regular contributors flexing to meet our new challenges and we’ve been really happy to see some new faces! The winners of brand new, shiny N97 devices are: Jappit http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...n:_File_Upload Jappit made a great mobile web pattern, with a great structure of usage on when and how to use it. What really shines about this article is that not only does it talk about the pattern in general, but it also provides concrete information on execution for several different platforms. Kamaljaiswal http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._UI_Components Kamaljaiswal did a really great job building on material to be found in the Forum Nokia Library and from Carbide UI documentation and creating a lot of new valuable resources for themes! Alen Alebic http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...for_Flash_Lite The Grid Menu component is a great example of mobile specific implementation of a familiar component that can easily be utilized in any application. JasperJager http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...for_Flash_Lite The Kinetic Scroll component displays in a nice way how to utilize the interaction possibilities of the touch screen. Using this component surely will save time. Mayankkedia http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Guided_Tour Mayankkedia is a very active member of the Forum Nokia community and has written a plethora of articles of which the linked Guided tour is good example. Also the contributions to many existing articles have been noted. Aadhar14b http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...e_Applications Nice articles with a lot of images and out of the box thinking was what won the N97 for Aadhar14b Us over at Forum Nokia HQ are gearing up for a little soaking in the sunshine, so we won’t be running a challenge for July. But once we’re back in the saddle we’ll be thinking up some great new challenges and prizes for you to enter and win, so stay tuned! |

Congratulation to the winners. Good job!
After the two design contests Forum Nokia seems to have a wealth of design information. Surprised not to see the announcement on the wiki home page yet ![]() --NirpSis http://sites.google.com/site/nirpsis/ http://nirpsis.blogspot.com/ |

We really respect all the new faces and their contributions, but as in all contests, we cannot name all the contributors as the winners, we have to come up with some selected contributors. The ones who did not win the contest should not lose the hopes. There will be definitely new amazing contests in near future and they should get ready for the next round. ![]() We definitely look into new faces and we always try to promote them by arranging such wonderful contests. ![]() All the best. - Forum Nokia Wiki Admin Team - Kiran |

As one of the "new faces" I can say I was inspired by the great articles found at Forum Nokia and at the last minute decided to give something back...I gave my best to produce the article up to the challenge and I'm proud to be selected as one of the winners among other quality entries. My prize will help me in the further development and I plan to contribute with more articles in the future.
Congrats to all who participated and thanks to the FN team! |
