Who knew that June could come and go so quickly?

Overall, it’s been great to check in on the wiki over the month and see the entries that have been coming in – as you may have noticed, a couple of the categories for the challenge have been quite new, so it’s been great to see the variety of information you all have been contributing to the community! It’s been great to see our regular contributors flexing to meet our new challenges and we’ve been really happy to see some new faces!

Jappit made a great mobile web pattern, with a great structure of usage on when and how to use it. What really shines about this article is that not only does it talk about the pattern in general, but it also provides concrete information on execution for several different platforms.

The Grid Menu component is a great example of mobile specific implementation of a familiar component that can easily be utilized in any application.

The Kinetic Scroll component displays in a nice way how to utilize the interaction possibilities of the touch screen. Using this component surely will save time.

Here new faces are less than those participated in competition. It would be very courageous to all new faces if you address few words to them. I could not found a single word in this post which courage all new faces who participated in this competition and not get any rewards. Do you think moral of those participant is very high and they actively take part in next challange? Although i was not part of this competition, i belive this post is really descourageous to all newbies.

If you look carefully at the winners, there are currently 6 winners announced in total. We have 3 winners who are totally new to Wiki contributions and they stood up with best quality and hence are declared as winners. And if you complain about the old contributors, I would strongly recommend you to look into their outstanding contributions to this contest. By the quality and contents, you would realize that they are rightly selected as the winners.

We really respect all the new faces and their contributions, but as in all contests, we cannot name all the contributors as the winners, we have to come up with some selected contributors. The ones who did not win the contest should not lose the hopes. There will be definitely new amazing contests in near future and they should get ready for the next round.

We definitely look into new faces and we always try to promote them by arranging such wonderful contests.

As one of the "new faces" I can say I was inspired by the great articles found at Forum Nokia and at the last minute decided to give something back...I gave my best to produce the article up to the challenge and I'm proud to be selected as one of the winners among other quality entries. My prize will help me in the further development and I plan to contribute with more articles in the future.
