Just noticed release note for "Maemo Eclipse Integration 2nd Edition Beta 2" (can be seen here).

Here's some lines which I found interesting:

* Maemo C/C++ and Python programming language support
* Easy development process for debugging and tracing C/C++/Python on Maemo SDK and Maemo device

Question: How closely related Maemo Python and Python for S60 projects are? Would it be possible, even in theory, that some year we might be able to develop PyS60 apps using Eclipse, with debugging and tracing support on device (or emulator)? Could that Eclipse be actually Carbide (which is based on Eclipse as everyone knows)?
