When I connect to my 6310i using the Widcomm Bluetooth software, it claims to only support Business Card exchange over OBEX Push.

When I connect using IrDa, the Nokia PC Suite can also exchange calendar information.

How does this work? Is it just not exported over Bluetooth or does the PC Suite use a different method of reading and writing Calendar information i.e. Smart Messaging???

Nokia 6310i supports sending and receiving business cards using Bluetooth Object Push Profile. Calendar items cannot be transmitted.

PC Suite does not use the Object Push Profile and you can synchronize contacts and calendar events with your PC.

I know that PC Suite can synchronise the calendar, but it does not work with Bluetooth support in my laptop, although all other Bluetooth software I've tried does.

I have tried opening a bluetooth serial port and then running the PC Suite using COMx, but it discovers the device and quickly disconnects.

I see that the 7650 software allows you to route PC Suite over a virtual Bluetooth comport - are there any plans to add this to the 6310i PC Suite?
