I have recently purchased a second hand Nokia 3330 for a very low price, with the understanding that the phone appears to receive no signal and the previous owner did not know how to fix it. It is unlocked and has been tested with my O2 simcard in the UK and it does receive no signal.

Is this a problem any other users have experienced with any model of phone and how has the problem been corrected? (Note that the 3330 has internal aerial and so replacing it is harder than screwing in a new stub aerial as with some phones).

Is this fixable?
