Connection Manager + 3650 = exception error -

HI all, first post :-)
I am setting up my machine. I am trying to be as Nokia OK as possible. Windows 2000 Socket bluetooth kit Nokia PC Suite for 3650 If I do a connection as serial port is okay but I wonder why I get and exception error if the connection is tried through the Connection Manager. Any ideas? marc.
