increasing kvm's heap size -

I am a part of development team in my company and our team is working in a J2ME based chatting applicatin. We have already made application for 7650 and 3650. But we face problem when we start working on generic applican for for all j2me based phones.Problems are listed as under .
1 . while fetching photos our application is getting jammed just because the size of the heap is getting increased on some particuler phone type. 2. same heap incriment problem is faced when some body sends messages in bulk ,and in a very short span from pc. If any body wana work on this challange he is alwayz welcome.

It is strange problem.
You mean heap size increase? Does Runtime.totalMemory() always return different value? I think maybe you need to read the technical documents of those phones. Good luck
