Hi,
I have a question about rms storage. Do I need to manually remove the record store before I delete the application from the deivce? Otherwise I am afraid that memory will be wasted if the record store associated with the application is not removed. Or the record store will be automatically removed when the application is removed? Thank you. Nelson |

That's right!
If you delete midlet from device then his RMS will deleted too. |

I have tested an MIDP application, which uses RMS. When I test it with the emulator (install / uninstall), I can still see the RMS files on
\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_S40_DP20_SDK_6230i\bin\Storage\6230100 What do you think; is there some problems with the software or is it emulator's way to work, that it does not delete the RMS files? Hopefully someone understood my question... |

dont worry about the emulator version but as far as handset is concerned when you delete you midlet your rms will automatically gets deleted. But in emulator you have to delete rms files manualy. cheers, Anil. |

Thanks for the answer.
Is there any good way to check, that the rms-files are really deleted from handset (without installing the application again...)? |
