Hello,

I just tried out SMS-Sending from a 3650. While I know that it would be very bad securitywise if the send-method does not ask the user if it is ok to send this SMS I do have an application where I would really need this. Is there any way to do this in java?

Hello

Sending SMS is always promted from user.
MIDP 2.0 contains rules how to act depending on different certificates, so if certificate tells that MIDlet is from trusted source, MIDlet allows such actions as connections.
Please see more from MIDP 2.0 spec.

3650 is MIDP 1.0 device so SMS activity is promted.
