Hi,

Id like to write an application which requires a client ( phone) to connect frequently to Blue Tooth access points.

This could be as a user is moving around.

Is there any way to do this with having minimal handshake/discovery time? ( which would inconvenience the user)

regards,
Larry

Using RHostResolver you can initiate automated device discovery that does not (necessarily) require user intervention.

If the access points to be connected are familiar with the application (BTAddress known), you do not need to perform discovery, which significantly reduces the time needed to connect.

Thanks Seppo for the response,

from my experience with other applications, the connection is almost immediate without any discovery and with discovery
can take about 5 secs.
