Is it possible to communicate via the serial port of the 6310i - and other mobile phones?
I have not been able to find anything regarding this?

There is no Java API to the serial port in current Nokia phones. The only interface from J2ME is HTTP (in some Nokia phones also SMS and Wireless Messaging APIs).

Thanks for the answer.
Isnt there any other model - e.g. 7650 - that IS capable of doing this? Do you know if there are plans for doing this?
